A Platform for Play

The future of playgrounds is in jeopardy as developers seek to profit from their real estate. Heatmaps utilize GIS to analyze the perimeter of New York playgrounds, and design interventions proposes a system of evolving modular systems for play: climbing walls, game rooms, libraries, health centers, farmer’s markets, and community gardens.
