About

Hello, my name is Emily. Originally from Southern California, I am an architectural designer who has worked in Los Angeles and New York. I received my M. Arch Degree from the Yale School of Architecture in 2020 and hold a BA in Architecture with a Minor in Philosophy from Barnard College of Columbia University. During my time at Yale I collaboratively led Equality in Design, curated two exhibits in the YSoA North Gallery, was a Teaching Fellow, and received the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. My design philosophy stems from a deeply rooted belief that impactful architecture requires truly listening to the people and places where one intervenes. I am especially interested in exploring alternative approaches to dwelling, adaptive reuse, innovative and ethical building methods, and ultimately, how architecture can improve the daily lives of its inhabitants.
